Shoes made by Good Little Things
Mary Jane Pattern sold by Sewingwithme1
So I have been wanting to learn how to make these for a long time!  I am excited to give it a whirl.  I have scoured the internet to find a free pattern and tutorial for us to use.  We will use the pattern found on the blog Tao of Craft but I think we may adapt it a little when we sew.

PRINT OUT PATTERN and CUT OUT PIECES:
Visit Tao of Craft and print out their pattern pieces by selecting the size shoe you want to make.

Cut out the pieces.  {I believe the pieces include the seam allowance, but I emailed the blogger to make sure.  If not, add a 1/4" all around the outside of the pieces.}

You should have 16 pieces:

Top shoe pattern: 2 Interfacing, 2 Lining, 2 Fabric Print
Sole: 2 Interfacing, 2 Lining, 2 Print Fabric, (2 felt- optional for sole insert for walkers)
Strap: 2 Interfacing, 2 Print Fabric

FOR INSPIRATION:

I have a major shoe crush on Joyfolie shoes.  I have watched her company start on Etsy and grow, grow.  She will be converting to manufactured shoes on April 18th!  Her shoes are beautiful and works of art.  Visit her website and her blog for inspiration for your fabric choice and adornment selection.

GIVE ME A HOLLER:
Please let me know you are coming.  Would love to have you, just email, comment, FB, call, etc to let me know.
See you on Tuesday!

I am obsessed! Please make some of these for me! I can make felt flowers to go on them but I don't have the skill to sew them! And the peep toes, ridiculous! I might have to drive out just to have you help/make some for me!

Okay. I'm hooked. I'll be there. Nevaeh won't be able to wear these but I can always make them for baby gifts since I am obsessed with shoes and can never find ones I want to go with the outfit I pick out.
