Let's Get Together... yeah, yeah, yeah!!

We are so excited to start this little group to help spread the love of sewing and making wearable crafts.  There is a whole new world out there for you!!!  We have created this blog to help consolidate all of the needed information for our group into one place.  We will post our upcoming classes, supplies needed, things we are in need of from you, our favorite sewing and craft inspiration blogs, favorite places to buy fabric, and so on.  We hope that you will utilize this blog to ask questions, make comments, find others who are learning just like you, and find the support and fun you need to start on your "creating" journey.  Take a minute to read the amazing quote from Pres. Uchtdorf on "creating" in the sidebar for some needed inspiration.  We are by no means "experts", but we love to sew and create things and want to be able to share what we know with you.  Please feel free to ask us questions.  We will do our best to answer them.  We would love to hear what type of things you would like to learn how to sew or which techniques you would like to learn.  Feedback will help so much in making this group a success.  Your patience will be appreciated as we figure out how to get this party started:-)

What a fabulous idea! I was not the best student as my mom worked ever so patiently with me to teach me to sew throughout my childhood. I really enjoy it now but have some lost ground to make. So while I live a *little* too far away to actually attend your classes :) I'll be following for some great tips and ideas!!

Thanks Bethany. Texas isn't too far away;-) Hope you can benefit from our little blog as it journals our sewing journey. I think we should have an 'at home' project after each class, something they can make using the skills they just learned. I would love you to join us in those from afar. I think I'd like to start a Flickr group to showcase everyone's projects. Lots of fun to be had!!!
