Needle Felted Elbow Patches


Offered Thursday November 15 Session 2 7:30 - 9:30 pm

We will be needle felting wool roving into a sweater to create elbow patches.  Please bring an adult or child size sweater for this class.  Wool is preferable, although I had success with a 100% cotton cardigan.

Class Fee and Add-ons:
$7.00 for Adult Size Elbow Patches
$5.00 for Child Size Elbow Patches
$5.00 for each additional adult size
$3.00 for each additional child size

Class Options:
For Adult Size you may choose from a heart or an oval shape.
Child size is only available in heart size.

Colors:
Aqua, Teal, Orange, Red, Mustard Yellow, Brown, Green, Blue, Purple

I purchased a flannel and a pull-over sweater for my patches
so I will update with some photos of them when I get them completed
This is an addicting technique

Personalized Stamped Necklace




Offered Thursday November 15 Session 2 7:30 - 9:30 pm

This is a personalized stamp necklace.  You will create your own necklace featuring a 3 to 5 letter word of your choosing.

Cost of the project includes 1 crystal bead, 1 charm, a 24" chain, the metal stamp plate, and use of black, green, and burgundy inks.

Class fees and add-ons:
$8.00- 1" square or circle plate
$10.00- 1.5" Square ornate Bezel plate
extra charm- $2.00
longer chain-$.25 per 3"

Bead choices: slate or brown

Charm choices: angel wing, apple, tree, owl, key, flower {indicate which one), heart {indicate which one}, bird

Bring to class:
    1.  pair of jewelry pliers (or purchase from me for $4.50)
    2.  3-5 letter word to put on plate

Glass Jar Chalkboard Labels



Offered Thursday November 15 Session 2 7:30 - 9:30 pm 

In this class we will be painting chalkboard labels on mason jars.  

Class Fees: 
First Option - 2 Pint-sized Jars with labels - $6.60 
Second Option - 2 Quart-sized Jars with labels - $8.60 
Third Option - Bring 2 of your own jars to label - $4.60 

All supplies will be provided. If you have opted to bring your own jars, then make sure they are cleaned and dried.

gathering pretty things


i am gathering pretty things for Craft Explosion
cut glass, cabochon flowers, washi tape... oh my

we are in the gathering and preparing mode
all this next week all the instructors will be laboring in 
Project Run-Through
we will be dissecting, hammering, and working out the kinks of all of our classes
to create smooth and successful projects for you to create

this week i will be posting little previews of the classes as we work through them
as well as introducing you to the women putting in the elbow grease

my hope is that online registration will begin at the end of next week!
oh i'm getting so anxious i could explode:)

2012 Craft Explosion Lineup


i am happy to present your 2012 Craft Explosion lineup.
the amount of classes has expanded this year as has the interest in the event!
Pinterest is a fabulous tool in discovering trending bloggers and creatives and i have been inspired by the remarkable ideas that are floating around just waiting to be put into action!

2 nights {Nov 14 & 15}, each 3 hours long and divided into 2 sessions -

Ka-Pow, Craft Explosion is on

well its finally happening
CRAFT EXPLOSION  that is

after all that has been happening in my life
{need to catch up... don't feel bad, me too... you can read up here}
i almost let it pass by, just not sure i had it in me,
but i decided to i must do it for several important reasons:
* i would be so sad if i didn't do it, i had a blast last year, can you believe its been a whole year?
* i miss you ladies, i need your energy and craftiness
* i desperately need a creative rush, and there are so many amazing projects just calling our names
* my daddy was such a supporter of my classes, and i know he would want me to carry on

so it is decided
CRAFT EXPLOSION will happen on
NOVEMBER 14 and 15 {Wed and Thurs}
dependent on one very important condition
